摘要:左手材料是指同時具有負電容率和負磁導率的人工復合材料。電磁波在這樣的材料中傳播時,電場、磁場和波矢的方向成左手螺旋關系,所以這種材被稱為左手材料。左手材料,自2001年被實驗實現以來,已經成為世界上物理、光學、材料、電子學等領域的研究熱點。 本文主要通過左手材料的研究,介紹了左手材料具有許多獨特的電磁特性,其中最重要的是負折射。此外,左手材料還具有逆Doppler效應、反常Cherenkov輻射等性質。還介紹了參數的提取方法和Ansoft HFSS軟件的應用和數值模擬。應用Ansoft HFSS軟件對環形波導陣列金屬銀膜材料的進行數值模擬和計算。我們通過改變模型的厚度,繪制出對應的透射光譜圖,從圖可知該模型具有法布里-珀羅共振。再通過提取材料的S參數,得出材料的折射率、波阻抗、有效電容率和有效磁導率。模擬結果顯示具有高透過率負折射帶位于130THz到145THz,在頻率為140THz處品質因數FOM的值達到27.35。大量的模擬驗證了只要通過簡單地調諧模型厚度就能夠很容易地獲得具有高透過率的不同的負折射帶。 關鍵詞:左手材料,負折射,品質因數
Abstract: The left-handed material is an artificial composite material with simultaneously negative permittivity an negative permeability. For electromagnetic waves propagating in such materials, the electric field E,magnetic field Hand wave vector K form a left-handed triplet of vectors and so such materials are called LHMs. After the first realization in 2001, LHMs have been the hot topic in physics, optics, materials, and electronics and so on in the word. According to the study of LHMs, LHMs exhibit many unique electromagnetic properties, among which the most well-known is negative refraction. So, LHMs are also called as negative-index materials. Other properties include reversed Doppler effects, reversed Cherenkov radiation, and so on. We also introduced the extraction method of parameters and application of Ansoft HFSS software. Through the thickness of the change model, draw out the corresponding transmission spectra, from graph, this model has known Fabry-perot resonance. Simulating the S parameters, we retrieve the refractive index, wave impedance, effective permittivity, and effective permeability. The retrieved results show that the negative-index band with high transmission ranges roughly from 130THz to 145THz, and FOM (−Re(n)/ Im(n)) reaches 27.25 at the frequency of 140THz. Our additional large numbers of simulations testify that different negative-index bands with high transmission can be obtained by simply tuning the mode width.
