摘要：在沿海大開發的戰略背景之下，擁有得天獨厚優勢的東方深水大港——洋口港面臨怎樣的際遇。文章首先介紹了洋口港的現狀，并指出其面臨的一些問題，隨后借助SWOT理論模型分析了洋口港具備的優勢，發展的劣勢，遇到的機會和面臨的威脅，以及“優勢—機會”“劣勢--威脅”等組合分析，探討了洋口港未來發展的戰略選擇，如何揚長避短，發揮綜合效益，進而提出港口與城市統籌規劃，著眼于新一代港口的功能定位，加強港口岸線資源開發提升整體能力，充分發展信息化，大力引進人才和資金，并與周邊港口雙贏的戰略規劃。
