Abstract: The translation of classic Chinese poetry images plays an important role in the inheriting and carrying forward the Chinese culture, and it is conducive to better carry forward the traditional Chinese culture, translate the culture and meaning of Chinese culture into English culture, and promote cultural globalization. At present, the translation of classic Chinese poetry images is a contradiction of classical Chinese poetry translation. On the one hand, it needs to retain the original description of the poetry, on the other hand, it also needs to show the beauty. The beauty of poetry, mostly reflected in language and rhythm, so this research is to find a balance between meaning and beauty, and to maximize the image of the implicit sense and its original intention.
