      Abstract

       

      With the rapid development of the integration of global economy, nowadays, foreign-related enterprises have increasingly played an important role in cross-border economic activities, therefore business English gradually has been attached great importance to foreign-related enterprises. The usage of business English is playing an important role and its place can’t be taken place no matter what other factors, because which is closely linked to the gain and loss of commercial opportunities. And the pragmatic strategies are the key points to achieve the successful negotiation with business English, especially in the extremely competitive commercial business.       

      This thesis is focused on the pragmatic strategies of business English for foreign-related enterprises. Therefore, we can have a further research on pragmatic strategies, which will help us settle down many questions that we will encounter with in the future. Thus foreign-related business will implement these pragmatic strategies such as: ambiguity, euphemism, and humor in cross-border negotiation of commercial business. And these are only a part of pragmatic strategies, however the pragmatic strategies will bring both advantages and disadvantages in foreign-related business, which has played an important role and brought great success. Therefore, if we can correctly and flexibly use these pragmatic strategies so you will be able to achieve incredibly achievements.
